(Level 7-8 & Apprentice
to Ballet Minnesota)
Levels 7-8 are
the highest levels in the CBA classical curriculum. The students
at this level not only increase their hours of trainning but
work with the company in productions such as the Nutcracker,
the Minnesota Dance Festival, River Tour, Youth Concert Series
and others. Apprentice dancers do not pay tuition, and work very
closely with all company productions. Scholarships are available

Some Things
to know:
1. Placement Auditions (for students new to
CBA only) are required
for all students entering level 2-8. The purpose of the placement
audition is to determine the appropriate level the child should
be placed in. The student can either audtion during the preset
registation times of:

(5:30 - 7:00pm) and,

Saturday,
August 31, 2002
(1:30 - 3:00pm),

2. Performance. Level 1-3 students have the oppourtunity, through
audition & at the discretion of the artistic director,
to perform in many of the productions produced by Ballet Minnesota.
Performance oppourtunities include

- Nutcraker (December 18-22, 2002 at The O'Shaughnessy,
St Paul)
- 15th annual Minnesota
Dance Festival (March 2003)
- Youth Concert Series

Other
concerts will be determined throughout the year.
3. There
are no Costume or Performance Fees.
4. Each
level is a full year course.
Progress into next level is at the determination of
the school director upon completion of each level. Attendance
at the graduation day class (May 2002)
is required to pass into the next level.
5. There
are 3 sessions (Fall, Winter & Spring) in the CBA
school year.
