MARGARET began her dance studies at the Classical Ballet Academy of Minnesota in September, 2002.

She has danced in many of the classics restaged by Cheryl Rist for Ballet Minnesota including: 'Don Quixote', 'La Bayadere', 'Les Sylphides' and 'Sleeping Beauty'.

She has also danced in and been a featured dancer in works by Andrew Rist including: "Cinderella', 'Messiah', 'Beethoven's 6th Symphony', 'At The Museum', 'Nutcracker', Mozart's '40th Symphony' and Beethoven's 'Grosse Fuge'.

Margaret was made an apprentice to Ballet Minnesota for the 2012-2013 season.

In the Fall of 2013 she will continue her dance education at college.

Brief Ballet Minnesota
Nutcracker History

        1989:
Andrew Rist choreographs parts of the Nutcracker in St Paul, Minnesota. It is presented as a lecture/demonstration to about 200 people by Classical Ballet Academy of Minnesota.

       1990:
Classic Nutcracker (chor: A Rist) presented by Ballet Minnesota. The production is presented at the St Paul Student Center Theater, University of MN St Paul campus, seating capacity 330.

       1996:
Ballet Minnesota moves the production to O'Shaughnessy, St Paul, Minnesota, seating capacity 1800.

       2002:
A milestone of 10,000 audience members is reached.
